ABOUT THE REETA SHIRT DRESS
Reeta is a classic, loose-fitting shirt dress with simple yet thought-out details.
The Reeta shirt dress features pleated breast pockets, a shirt collar, and a waist gathered with a cord.
The turn-ups of the T-shirt sleeves and the deep vents on the midi-length hem add carefree character to the dress.
The pattern comes with plenty of ease. Check the finished measurements for your size and, if necessary, select a size smaller than usually if you want the garment to be more fitted. A more fitted dress is suited for fabrics with less drape (see fabric recommendations below).
FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS
Choose a light weight or medium weight non-stretch shirting/woven fabric.
The rayon of the sample garment is quite drapey, and you can choose other viscoses such as our TencelTMand EcoVeroTM with a similar drapey effect.
You can also choose a less drapey fabric, such as our lightweight cotton-silk blend or a linen, if you prefer. Consider to go down one size if using a less drapey fabric.
