The ‘Birds eye’ in grey + red is part of the nani IRO 2022 collection - and made in Japan.

‘Birds eye’ is a popular print from Atelier to nani IRO. It is updated for the season 2022 in this grey + deep red version printed on a high-quality, highly comfortable, and easy-to-sew 100% cotton sateen. Naomi Ito (the artist who creates nani IRO) says the print tells the story of: ‘Let 's take a bird's eye-view - an orchard's expansive land, the fruits of the harvest, the murmurs of the leaves and flowers swaying in the wind ...’

The cotton sateen weave has a beautiful silky sheen like nacre (‘perlemor’) and delicate soft drape. The fabric is perfect for summer dresses, blouses, skirts, and wide trousers and jumpsuits. In the colder seasons don’t miss out on using this fabric for a beautiful shirt that can be worn both daily and for parties dependent on how you choose to style it.

Because, the fabric is easy to handle, it is perfect for the beginner seamstress who is not yet ready to work with viscose but still long for creating a garment with fluidity and drape.

Width: 110 cm - Weight: 140 g/m2

Wash at 30 degrees Celcius on a delicate cycle, with a low spin setting, using non bio detergent. There is around 2-5% shrinkage with the first wash.
