‘Lei nani Pearl’ - is a popular print from Atelier to nani IRO. It is updated for the season 2022 in this deep red version printed on this highly comfortable and easy-to-sew cotton & silk blend. Naomi Ito (the artist who creates nani IRO) says the print tells the story of: ‘Lei nani - Just like the flowers made into the gift of a crown or a lei. I named this “Lei nani” after the Hawaiian word for a beautiful flower garland.’
The light cotton/silk blend has a beautiful silky sheen like nacre (‘perlemor’) and delicate soft drape. The fabric is perfect for summer dresses, blouses, skirts, and wide trousers, jumpsuits, and scarfs. Wash at 30 degrees Celcius on a delicate cycle, with a low spin setting, using non bio detergent. There is around 2-5% shrinkage with the first wash.
