The A-LINE MIDI SKIRT in sizes XS-L and XL-3XL from Swedish designer The Assembly Line is the perfect skirt for your capsule DIY wardrobe. It has a modern finish, and it is easy and fun to sew.
The A-line silhouette has a relaxed fit. Whether you are slim or has a bit of a tummy the relaxed fit adds a chic, modern (and practical) roominess to your silhouette.
You can make very different skirts with the A-LINE MIDI SKIRT pattern dependent on your choice of fabric and which version of the skirt you choose for your creation.
The A-LINE MIDI SKIRT is detailed with an elasticated waistband and side slant pockets and comes with several versions to choose from. Two waistbands, a regular waistband and a paper bag waistband with belt loops and a belt. Plus three hemlines, a regular straight hemline, a rounded hemline and an elasticated hemline. The A-LINE MIDI SKIRT is practical and you can easily slip in and out of the skirt.
FABRIC CHOICE
Make the A-LINE MIDI SKIRT in just any kind of fabric.
For a less refined look choose a light to midweight fabric such as our linen-Tencel/linen-cotton blends, 100% linen denim or gabardine/cotton twill, or double gauze.
For the Winter 2021/2022 season choose one of our patterned Atelier Brunette EcoVero™ viscoses. We specifically recommend Seraphine in the colour OCHRE or Lucie in the colour CEDAR.
